नई दिल्ली। बिहार से एक बड़ी खबर सामने आ रही है यहां डॉक्टरों की लापरवाही के चलते 15 लोगों की आंख निकालनी पड़ी। घटना बिहार के मुजफ्फरपुर की बताई जा रही है जहां मोतियाबिंद का ऑपरेशन कराने के बाद कई लोगों की आंखों की रोशनी चले गई। उनकी आंखों में गंभीर संक्रमण तक हो गया जिसकी वजह से 15 लोगों की आंखें निकालनी पड़ी। घटना से शासन-प्रशासन में हड़कंप मचा हुआ है।
जानकारी के अनुसार बीते 22 नवंबर को एक अस्पताल में 65 मरीजों का मोतियाबिंद का ऑपरेशन हुआ था। इन 65 लोगों में से 27 को गंभीर संक्रमण हुआ जिसके कारण 15 लोगों की आंखें निकाली पड़ी। बताया जा रहा है कि ऐसे मरीजों की संख्या बढ़ सकती है। इसके अलावा कई और लोगों की आंखों में इंफेक्शन फैल चुका है। मुजफ्फरपुर के मेडिकल कॉलेज में पहले 6 लोगों को भर्ती कराया गया था और बाद में 9 लोगों को भर्ती कराया गया। इन सभी की आंखे निकालनी पड़ी है। घटना के 3 दिन बाद आखिरकार प्रशासन सतर्क हुआ। सीएस ने अस्पताल को पत्र भेजकर पीड़ितों का ब्योरा मांगा है व इलाज से जुड़े दस्तावेज भी मंगाए हैं। डीएम ने पीड़ितों से मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष से मुआवजा देने की भी बात कही है। प्रशासन में सभी मरीजों की सूची मांगी है ताकि इन सभी की आंखों की जांच एक बार फिर से की जा सके। सिविल सर्जन ने लापरवाही बरतने वाले डॉक्टरों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की बात कही है। इसके अलावा जिलाधिकारी प्रणव कुमार ने भी मामले को लेकर सख्ती दिखाई है और सिविल सर्जन के नेतृत्व में एक जांच टीम का गठन किया गया है। आपको बता दें कि लोगों ने मोतियाबिंद का ऑपरेशन एक संस्था द्वारा संचालित मुजफ्फरपुर आई हॉस्पिटल में कराया था। ऑपरेशन के बाद संक्रमण की स्थिति जब गंभीर हुई तो यह लोग दूसरे अस्पतालों में पहुंचे। मुजफ्फरपुर मेडिकल हाउस कॉलेज में संक्रमित मरीजों की आंखें निकाली गई है इसके अलावा कई और मरीज आस पास के निजी अस्पतालों में अपना इलाज करवा रहे हैं। वहीं राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग (एनएचआरसी) ने इस घटना को लेकर बिहार सरकार को नोटिस भेजा है। एनएचआरसी ने एक बयान में कहा कि उसने मीडिया में आई एक खबर पर स्वत: संज्ञान लिया है कि 22 नवंबर को मुजफ्फरपुर नेत्र अस्पताल में हुई मोतियाबिंद सर्जरी के बाद श्री कृष्णा मेडिकल कॉलेज एंड हॉस्पिटल (एसकेएमसीएच) में कई रोगियों की आंखें निकालनी पड़ीं। बयान में कहा गया है यदि मीडिया में आईं खबरें सही हैं तो यह मानवाधिकारों के उल्लंघन का एक गंभीर मुद्दा है। आयोग ने कहा, चिकित्सा नियमों के अनुसार एक डॉक्टर अधिकतम 12 सर्जरी कर सकता है, लेकिन इस मामले में डॉक्टर ने 65 रोगियों की सर्जरी की। आयोग ने पाया कि इस तरह चिकित्सा नियमों का उल्लंघन कर लापरवाह तरीके से आंखों की सर्जरी करना गंभीर चिंता का मामला है।
